What they needed
OFC funds football development across 14 member nations in the Pacific. Every year each member association plans its programme, applies for the grants to run it and reports back on what was spent. All of that ran on manual entry, paper trails and email back and forth. It was slow, hard to audit, and it put efficiency, security and compliance under strain.
What we built
One platform where every member association plans its year, requests funding for courses, programmes and equipment, and reports actuals against budget. Each request is tracked, audited and verified as it moves through, and approval workflows replaced the email chains and the delays that came with them. A course carries its status, dates, instructors and budget in one place. A work plan shows an association where it sits against its approved spend and how far into the year it is, with active, draft, approved and archived plans side by side. It works on a phone as well as a desktop. The platform supports 14 member associations and around 250 users.
What changed
More than $20M and 500 grants have gone through the platform, and manual processing time dropped by around 75%. Every grant now has a verified record from request to actuals.
Where it goes next
The engagement has been ongoing since 2016. The platform carries OFC's development programmes and adapts as their reporting needs change.
