What they needed
Knode puts sensors on the things a farm or a council needs to watch: water flow, tank levels, soil, effluent, weather. Their customers needed those readings turned into something a person can act on, in real time, without an engineer in the loop. That meant a platform that could take in large data streams continuously, spot when something was wrong, and let a customer explore and report on their own data.
What we built
With Knode and Brave Studio we designed and built the platform. Ingestion handles more than a million data points a day. Alarms fire within seconds of a threshold being crossed, a tank level dropping or a daily water volume exceeded, and reach the right person on their phone. Eight modules cover water, soil, effluent, land, weather, equipment, nodes and reporting, each with pre-built charts and widgets, and a reporting tool builds custom reports and exports.
What changed
The platform has generated more than 100,000 insights for Knode's customers. Farms and councils monitor their infrastructure in real time and get ahead of downtime rather than finding it after the fact.
Where it goes next
Ongoing. We keep the platform running under Knode's data load and build the next modules as their customer base grows.
